Abbotts & Delaunay Chardonnay 2024 750ml

From one of the Languedoc’s most celebrated négociants, Abbotts & Delaunay Chardonnay 2024 draws fruit from several Languedoc terroirs including the Cévennes foothills, Aude Valley, Limoux and Hérault, combining freshness, fruit and richness. Around one-third is fermented and aged in oak on fine lees with the remainder in stainless steel, keeping oak influence restrained. Pale golden with aromas of pear, green apple, hazelnut and delicate white flowers; the palate is fresh, rounded and well balanced with bright acidity, ripe fruit and a subtle buttery finish. 90 points — James Suckling.
