Aquilani Organic Pinot Grigio 2024 750ml

From the Udine and Pordenone areas of Friuli in northern Italy — a more distinguished address than generic northern Italian Pinot Grigio — Aquilani's 2024 is a dry, textural expression of the variety that goes beyond the simple, neutral style. Made from organically grown grapes, it's a wine with both provenance and character. A pale rosé-gold hue hints at the light skin contact used in its making. Tangerine, white nectarine, spiced apple and acacia florals on the nose; the palate delivers citrus, ripe orchard fruit and subtle spice with good viscosity, a light phenolic grip and a crisp, mineral finish. More substance and character than a purely lean Pinot Grigio, while remaining fresh, dry and very food-friendly.
