Château Giscours is one of Margaux's most celebrated and historically significant estates, classified as a Third Growth (3ème Grand Cru Classé) in the 1855 Classification of Bordeaux. Located in the commune of Labarde on the southern edge of the Margaux appellation, the estate produces wines of remarkable elegance, precision, and longevity. The 2019 vintage is widely considered one of the greatest in recent Bordeaux history — a warm, dry year of exceptional balance that produced wines of extraordinary concentration, freshness, and ageing potential across the Médoc.
The nose is elegant and refined with aromas of blackcurrant, cassis, dark cherry, violet, cedar, and graphite. On the palate, expect a full-bodied, beautifully structured wine with concentrated dark fruit, refined oak, fine-grained tannins, and exceptional balance, finishing long, elegant, and persistent.
