Where the classic Cloudy Bay is all freshness and exuberance, Te Koko is aged in French oak and allowed extended lees contact, producing a Sauvignon Blanc of genuine complexity, depth, and cellaring potential. The 2023 delivers white peach, fig, and subtle toasty oak on the nose, with a rich, textured palate of stone fruit and citrus, a savoury, mineral mid-palate, and a long, layered finish that rewards patience.
