Dos Maderas — meaning "two woods" in Spanish — is a masterclass in the art of double ageing. Crafted by Williams & Humbert in Jerez, Spain, this exceptional rum begins its life aged for five years in the Caribbean (a blend of rums from Barbados and Guyana), before being shipped to Jerez where it spends a further five years maturing in rare Palo Cortado and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. The result is a rum of extraordinary complexity: rich dried fruit, dark chocolate, and toffee on the nose, with layers of sherry sweetness, vanilla, and warm spice on the palate, finishing long and elegantly dry.
