Isabel Estate Chardonnay 2024 750ml

From Isabel Estate’s own Wairau Valley vineyards in Marlborough, including vines planted in the early years of the estate, Isabel Estate Chardonnay 2024 is a richly textured, single-vineyard expression of one of New Zealand’s most respected Chardonnay producers. Whole-bunch pressed, naturally fermented in French oak barrels and puncheons, then through malolactic fermentation and 11 months in barrel followed by a further five months on lees in tank. Aromas of white nectarine, citrus and flint with distinctive gun-smoke and mineral notes; the palate is concentrated and creamy with nectarine, vanilla bean and subtle French oak toast, balanced by restrained acidity and a fine mineral character giving excellent length and complexity.
