'Local Hero' Barolo DOCG 2019

A rich Italian red in the Barolo style that is matured for 24 months. On the nose the wine has a strong initial Campari character that continues into orange peel with slight hints of fresh tobacco and a slight sense of dark black cherries. While, on the palate, the wine has rich tannins which carry the fruit through the palate. With flavors of slight earth, spice and dark cherry that linger for a dry finish at the back palate. This is a fantastic example of Italian winemaking.
