Maison J. Thorin Beaujolais-Villages Terres d'Arènes Granitiques 2023 750ml

Beaujolais has spent decades escaping the shadow of Nouveau — and wines like this are exactly why it has succeeded. Maison J. Thorin’s Terres d’Arènes Granitiques draws its character from the ancient granite-rich soils of the Beaujolais-Villages appellation, where the mineral backbone of the terroir gives Gamay a lift and a structure that transcends the region’s easy-drinking reputation. Bright red cherry, raspberry, and violet on the nose; light to medium-bodied on the palate with vibrant acidity, juicy red fruit, and a savoury, mineral-edged finish that lingers with real elegance.
