Penfolds Bin 128 is a single-region Shiraz of rare elegance — one of the few wines in the Penfolds portfolio to draw exclusively from Coonawarra, South Australia's celebrated cool-climate terra rossa region. First produced in 1959, Bin 128 stands apart from the bold, opulent style of Barossa Shiraz, offering instead a more refined, medium-bodied expression with fine tannins, vibrant acidity, and a distinctive savoury character. The 2020 vintage is a beautifully composed wine with dark cherry, plum, and earthy spice, framed by subtle French and American oak and a long, elegant finish.
