A powerful, classic expression of one of Australia's most celebrated reds, Penfolds Bin 389 2019 combines Cabernet Sauvignon structure with the richness of Shiraz, matured for 12 months in American oak hogsheads (25% new). The 2019 is a particularly rich and structured vintage — blackcurrant, cassis, blackberry and dark plum on the nose with liquorice, dark chocolate, mocha, cedar, mint and dried herbs; the palate is full-bodied and concentrated with generous dark fruit, fresh acidity and firm, fine-grained tannins.
