From more than 10 parcels across three high-altitude vineyards in the Uco Valley — El Peral at 1,500m, Gualtallary at 1,230m and El Espinillo at 1,650m — Terrazas de los Andes Reserva Chardonnay 2024 is a fresh, full-bodied expression of Argentina’s most exciting cool-climate wine region. Aged for around 8 months on fine lees in a combination of French oak and stainless steel, the wine shows aromas of yellow peach and pear lifted by grapefruit, candied citrus peel and a touch of white honey; the palate is full-bodied and rounded with bright pear and stone-fruit flavours, balanced acidity and a long, creamy finish with subtle brioche notes. 90 points — Wine Enthusiast, noting lemon curd, white fruit, delicate spice and refreshing acidity.
