Initially matured for 14 years in traditional American oak whisky casks, it is then finished in barrels that previously held Caribbean rum — imparting a distinctive tropical warmth and sweetness that perfectly complements Balvenie’s signature honeyed character. Toffee, vanilla, ripe banana, and tropical fruit on the nose, with a smooth, rounded palate of creamy caramel, dried fruit, and soft spice, finishing warm and deeply satisfying.
