The Botanist is a remarkable artisanal Islay Dry Gin from Bruichladdich Distillery on the Isle of Islay — better known for its peated single malts, but equally extraordinary in gin. Crafted in a rare Lomond pot still nicknamed "Ugly Betty", it is built on a base of 9 classic gin botanicals and then infused with 22 hand-foraged wild botanicals native to Islay, gathered by a team of expert foragers from the island's hills, peat bogs, and shoreline. The result is one of the most complex and botanically rich gins in the world.

The nose is delicate and aromatic with floral, herbal, and citrus notes — wildflowers, mint, and a whisper of juniper. On the palate, expect a beautifully layered, smooth gin with remarkable botanical complexity, finishing long, clean, and elegantly dry.
