XO Wine Co's Games Night 2025 is a small-batch skin-contact wine from the Adelaide Hills that trades the variety's typical pear-and-apple profile for something altogether more interesting. A portion underwent carbonic maceration before finishing in old French oak; 50% had four days of skin contact in open fermenters before stainless steel; the remainder had minimal contact for freshness — the result is a pale salmon-rosé hue, a luscious and textured palate, and a saline, mineral finish with genuine savoury complexity. Rose petal, Turkish delight and red berry florals on the nose, with subtle savoury notes and gentle phenolic texture on the palate. Fresh, aromatic and slightly unconventional — a great choice for lovers of modern Australian wine. Vegan friendly.
